Hi!

I’m Steph, a film critic and digital content manager from London, UK. Across reviews, features, lists and interviews, my work has appeared in several UK and US-based publications—both in-print and digital.

My regular outlets include BBC Culture, the British Film Institute, The Guardian, Sight & Sound, Empire, IndieWire, i-D, and many others. You can often find me reporting from and writing at film festivals with a very strong coffee in hand, including Cannes, Venice, London and Berlin.

I am a Rotten Tomatoes-approved critic, as well as a voting member for both BIFA (the British Independent Film Awards) and the London Film Critics' Circle. I managed the Twitter account for the film publication WeLoveCinema, previously edited the film section of The Indiependent, and can often be found yelling about 90’s erotic thrillers to anyone who will listen.

Beyond film, I am a digital content manager for the luxury travel group Belmond, part of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. I work in the Brand & Marketing department, managing and writing the copy for several websites and writing longform editorial on topics related to travel, lifestyle and culture. The role necessitates hands-on CMS expertise, a robust understanding of SEO, data reporting, and omnichannel digital marketing collaboration with paid, social and CRM teams.

I have an English Literature and French degree from the University of Leeds, during which I spent a year living in Paris working as an editorial assistant at Vogue France.

If you would like to work together, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
